Learn to create a realistic neon effect on typography with the vector blur effect.
In this new free After Effects video tutorial, we will learn how to reproduce from any text a quite realistic neon effect.
- Applying the effect "CC Vector Blur" and setting options to make it look like neon, or plastic effect on your text
- Create masks along a typo automatically
- Using the Stroke effect to animate randomly with expressions the light intensity inside the neon
- Color grading and lighting effects to give the final aesthetics of our video
Using this technique, you'll be able to easily create and animate neon logos with your own text. I hope you'll enjoy this tutorial!
