In this new video tutorial on After Effects, we will learn how to create an unstructured and abstract transition between different texts.

The first good news is that it requires no plugins, and uses only the original effects included with After Effects (from CS3).
The second is that once the project in place, the texts are really easily changeable.

  • Discovery of simple and varied transitions between our texts
  • Then create an unstructured and abstract transition with a precise control over the cut of the text
  • Color correction and graphics adjustments

The tutorial can be followed from the CS3 version, but the provided project requires CS5 and higher.
