Logorama – The Life of Brands, H5’s First Short Film

Logorama, the first short film from the French collective H5, is finally online! After a long wait and a teaser that had already made the rounds online, here’s the full-length (15-minute) version of Logorama — more than 4 years of work exploring the life of brands!

"A wild car chase, dangerous animals loose in the city, a hostage situation gone wrong… and much more in LOGORAMA!"

At the producers’ request, the video has been removed. Only a short excerpt is available:

The whole thing is really well done — some brand references are cleverly hidden, so keep your eyes peeled! If you want to learn more, check out this documentary by étapes dedicated to the film:

I’ll also take this opportunity to mention the little debate going on in the previous post:

Can advertising be considered art?

With Logorama, we’re in a very specific context... Can it be seen as an artistic work?
I’m waiting for a reply from Jazz-Damage and m-_g, who’ve been debating the topic fiercely. Can’t wait for the forums to open!

Below are a few of H5’s works — from music videos to TV branding and advertising. (You can find many more on their website.)
