New TF1 TV Branding for 2009 by Nobrain

Nobrain, who had already created holiday jingles twice for TF1, has just teamed up with Sabotage to produce a new series of jingles for the channel’s brand-new year-round broadcast design.
The 3D “PUB” letter animations by View, used in countless variations, are stepping aside to make room for fresh new spots that revitalize TF1’s visual identity. A much more colorful atmosphere, full of animation and detail everywhere. I really like Nobrain’s style in these jingles — a bit cartoonish, dynamic, with quick, playful reveals of the different elements.

Below are the 2008 jingles, as well as those made by Nobrain in 2006 and 2007, followed by the broadcast package from View — for nostalgia’s sake :)

Watching all this reminds me how eager I am to learn 3D, because I’m starting to feel limited in After Effects... Actually, I’m starting this weekend — an intensive 3ds Max crash course! We’ll see how it goes, while waiting for Maya at ESMA :)

Have a great weekend, everyone!
