After seeing the participation of Steffen Knoesgaard for the Animation Sequence Project , I wanted to share with you a very effective technique to easily create this offset cut effect in its animation.
In this new tutorial on After Effects, we will see how to make cuts in our graphic animations, with full control over the look, and the time lag of our pieces.
We'll learn a quick and flexible technique, which uses no mask or script, fully dynamic and updatable at any time.
In addition to the effect itself, we will recreate entirely on After Effects the animation available on the result tab (ie the animated circles, squares and texts).
There will be also tricks to graphically enhance your compositions using shapes layers.
great tutorial, the simple shading tricks are super helpful.
Thank you for this tutorial! This was really helpful and very good explained.
hey i have a problem your tutorials are really good but i dont have euros so how can i pay for these tutorials ?
Thanks for a tutorial? Do you have plans to make more deconstructive type effects?? your blog links are working.

I think there is a problem with your site...maybe where you host the videos as they won't play.
Thank you for your tutorial, Are the animation in the link below made with the same effect? https://www.behance.net/gallery/Displaced/10878401

Anyone have any idea of how to create something like this, but only in after effects? I wanted to break apart a logo in a similar fashion and reassemble it without having to use mask upon mask.
Someone on Udemy is selling your tutorial as his own:

Superbe, merci :)
This tutorial will not play for me. I get an error.
