Onesize Showreel 2009 and Memories..
Onesize is one of the first studios, along with Dstruckt and Anders Schroder, that introduced me to the world of motion design....
Let’s start this post with what you love most, you motion addicts — some beautiful animations!
And to illustrate my previous post about sound design and its importance, here are some great spots that use sound veeeery well :)
We’ll start with two ads for Síminn created by ThankYou:
Nice, right? I really like the elements from the footage that break out of the frame and interact with the rest of the animation. Like the falling car or the basketball — well thought out :)
Sound design plays a huge role here; we’re selling film, so might as well set the mood with explosions, gunshots, and wooosshhss!
Next up, the opening sequence for TED 2009:
It was made by Trollbäck & Company; it’s clean, elegant, and the sound work makes up at least 50% of the spot’s beauty.
At Dk, they know how to have fun. A visit to a perfect studio:
If Chrissy wants to come give me some After Effects lessons, she’s more than welcome!
This little parody really made me laugh, with gems like:
"I don’t work in motion graphics, I work in emotion graphics"
"Am I beautiful because my work is beautiful? Or is my work beautiful because I am beautiful? Probably a bit of both..." among many others ^^
I am the Founder of Mattrunks.
